The Milwaukee Brewers have had a relatively quiet offseason, save for a few trades.
The team acquired slugger Jesse Winker and infielder Abraham Toro from the Seattle Mariners in exchange for second baseman Kolten Wong and cash considerations, and also landed catcher William Contreras as part of the Sean Murphy deal.
On Wednesday, the team made a deal to acquire right-hander Bryse Wilson from the Pittsburgh Pirates.
In exchange, the Pirates acquired cash from the Brewers.
This comes just a week after Pittsburgh had designated Wilson for assignment.
On Twitter, the Brewers announced the news of their most recent acquisition, showing a picture of Wilson in a Milwaukee uniform.

Wilson made his debut with the Atlanta Braves in 2018.
He made a start in the 2020 NLCS against the Los Angeles Dodgers.
He joined the Pirates at the 2021 trade deadline after being shipped out in exchange for reliever Richard Rodriguez.
Wilson owns a career record of 9-17 and an ERA of 5.54.
The 25-year-old appeared in 25 games for the Pirates in 2022, starting 20 games.
In those appearances, Wilson went 3-9 and had an ERA of 5.52.
With Wilson, the Brewers get a swingman type starter who can be plugged into the rotation in the event of an injury.
He can also be used in relief.
The Brewers have still yet to spend any money in free agency and have instead chosen to focus solely on trades this offseason.
Milwaukee won 86 games during the regular season, but fell out of contention in the NL Central late in the season, finishing seven games behind the St. Louis Cardinals and falling short of the postseason.
