Going for Ten!

I wish I could say I haven't written in on the yard for a while because I was superstitous with the win streak we have going...but in reality I've just been busy. It's good to check back in though...We've come along way since my last enty, we've won 9 straight, and we play Denver tonight at home to try and make it ten. Everything seems better when you're winning. It's been alot of fun being a part of something special and being on a team that has such great chemistry. Off the court I've been scrambling around trying to get my shopping done and my house in order before my family gets here for Christmas...hopefully my sister will show me how to use my camera so I can get some pictures put on here for you...Happy Holidays...Be back soon...

It will be great to get the tenth tonight!! I will be there on Xmas to cheer like a crazed Blazermaniac! Hopefully that will be 11! Both those games are sold out!! Hey man, whats up with the new hair cut? I hardly recognized you the last time i saw you. Did your teammates tease you about your locks or what?? GO BLAZERS!!

Josh: you are getting a taste of what the future holds for Portland and the Blazers. When Greg comes back (and maybe even before, the way you guys are playing), the Blazers will be a force in the league and I hope and pray that you will be a part of it. Take the time to soak in the atmosphere around you, and get to know the fans and the city. As I told Greg in a reply to one of his blog entries, Portland is a city that will love you and adopt you as one of their own, protect and nurture you, and back you 150% in anything you choose to do. Us fans love players that are as big of fans of the team as we are.

McRoberts, I have no idea how you made it to the NBA, but like youre architypal friend Shav Randolph, enjoy youre time on the pine, becaue soon you will both be ridding pine in Slovenia very soon. Too bad you dont have reddick like shooting ability so you could last for another 2 and a half years with a half year d league stint. Enjoy youre last few months of meaningful nba experience, and treasure them. Hopefully you end up like other NBA rejects, such as wojo and johnny dawkins on the the coach k bench.
